Job Summary:
À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ is seeking a Mathematics Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year to teach middle and high school students.
Job Types: Full-time
Responsibilities also include:
- Teach mathematics to middle and high school students across a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lesson plans aligned with advanced mathematics standards.
- Teach courses that may include honors and AP-level mathematics.
- Prepare students for AP mathematics exams, as well as mathematics olympiads and academic competitions.
- Support students in developing strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative reasoning skills.
- Instruct students in a clear and structured manner while maintaining high academic expectations.
- Track and record student progress and maintain accurate records for report cards and parent-teacher conferences.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and academic development.
- Provide additional academic support outside of class for students who need extra help or enrichment.
- Build strong relationships with students and encourage intellectual curiosity, discipline, and confidence in mathematics.
- Participate in school academic initiatives, including competition teams and enrichment programs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Competencies:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, education, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in the mathematics subjects the applicant intends to teach.
- Experience teaching in a classroom environment.
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple academic responsibilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
- Passion for mathematics and student academic development.
Preferred:
- Experience teaching AP mathematics courses (such as AP Calculus or AP Statistics).
- Experience preparing students for mathematics olympiads, competitions, or advanced academic contests.
- 3+ years of teaching experience.
- An advanced degree: Master’s, Ph.D., or Ed.D.
