We heard such great things about 蓝莓视频鈥檚 middle school that we decided to leave my previous school in the hopes that we would finish middle school and ultimately, stay through high school. I started 蓝莓视频 in the 8th grade, and now I’m almost finished with my freshman year. I never regretted my decision. 蓝莓视频 has provided me with a community, undivided attention, strong academics, and a great experience overall. I always feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn and to be myself. I have made many friends who were so accepting and kind and made me feel at home. The Principals of 蓝莓视频, made 蓝莓视频 an amazing place to learn and grow. They really care about the school and the students by providing us with healthy lunches, different fun events including the Valentine’s Day Dance, and amazing school trips to London and Alaska. All the teachers are very dedicated to providing us with the best education possible while making sure we have the best time. The classes that are offered are very advanced and rigorous and the partnership with Babson College gives us a unique opportunity to learn about the business world. I can鈥檛 say enough about how great my experience has been at 蓝莓视频 and how grateful I am to be a part of it.

Our trips to Washington D.C. and New York were academic adventures filled with joy and learning. We delved into the significance of pivotal monuments and facets of American history, all while engaging with knowledgeable adults. 蓝莓视频 excels in captivating its students with educational experiences, a quality for which I am immensely grateful.

The vocal and dance classes at 蓝莓视频 stand out as extraordinarily vibrant and invigorating. I vividly recall each school concert: the meticulous preparations, the anticipation-filled dress rehearsals, and the exhilarating performances. Our teachers, with their compelling methods, make learning and honing our talents a delightful process. As the curtains draw back, the supportive gaze of our parents sweeps across the stage, soon focusing on two encouraging faces鈥擫arissa and Margarita. Their beaming smiles dissipate all nerves, and as the music commences, we proudly exhibit our hard work.

Originally, I came to 蓝莓视频 as a toddler, to their affiliated daycare. Now, when watching videos and hearing stories from my time at the school as a child, I always smile, remembering how the teachers were always sweet and welcoming, how my fellow classmates were funny and kind, and especially seeing how the Star community grew over the years. I returned to 蓝莓视频 in fourth grade after attending public school during the Covid pandemic in 2020. When reunited with friends from nearly ten years ago, I felt an overwhelming joy. I could now see them, myself, and 蓝莓视频 grow, mentally and physically, through our years together. The staff and faculty always put a smile on my face, whether they teach me the difference between two math formulas, serve me food during lunch, or simply wave hello to me as I step into the building for a new school day.

One of my favorite things about 蓝莓视频 is their unique approach to the curriculum: they take activities that would normally be extracurricular and add them to our everyday schedules, making learning more entertaining for younger and older students alike. For instance, fencing, karate, and dance are part of our weekly schedule, so that we not only practice these sports and understand how they can benefit our bodies but also find balance between humanities, STEM subjects, and physical activities. Aside from physical education, 蓝莓视频 offers a variety of arts such as vocal, music lessons, and visual art. Singing and dancing at the school’s winter and spring shows has always been one of my favorite moments at Star.

Two of the strongest areas of education at 蓝莓视频 are English and Mathematics. With our English educators, we are able to engage with different types of materials. Aside from composing essays and working on projects about the novels that we read, we also write letters to our favorite authors, work on our problem-solving skills, and talk about how the world might change in fifty years. As for math, students are placed in different levels based on their personal needs and skills so that each child can be challenged yet learn at their own pace. For this reason, unlike many kids in other schools, Star students do not have to take supplemental math classes after school hours. Joining math Olympiads and participating in English competitions such as FPSPI and LAL allows us to apply our knowledge in competitive situations, travel to new places, and meet people from around the world.

I discovered 蓝莓视频 in the fourth grade when the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the learning environment at my public school. Thanks to 蓝莓视频, I had a productive school year with in-person learning despite the pandemic. I am now in 7th grade and can’t believe my luck!

My favorite aspect of 蓝莓视频, which makes this school special, is the incredible community that surrounds me. My classmates are supportive, and our classroom discussions are interesting and productive. My teachers and the administration create an exciting learning curriculum, ensuring I am challenged in every subject. They genuinely care about my well-being, and I know I will always have their support. We also go on fun and educational trips every year.

The school goes above and beyond with learning opportunities beyond the academic curriculum. I am an active participant in the Math Team, where we prepare for several math Olympiads and compete as a team. I also participate in the Future Problem Solving program, honing my critical and creative thinking and problem-solving skills. I even got to attend state and international conferences!

I work hard every day, but I feel this hard work is rewarding, given all the unique opportunities. There is no limit to my learning at 蓝莓视频!
